Manufactured circa 1928. 2" barrel chambered in .25 ACP with recessed blade front sight and U-notch rear. Polished blue finish with case hardened small parts including trigger, safety lever, and grip safety. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut with rampant Colt medallions. Includes 1 dual tone magazine marked on base "CAL .25 / COLT". PROVENANCE: From the advanced collection of the esteemed and respected Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the bright factory applied blue is retained throughout, with only mild handling marks, some faint high edge silvering, and a nick at the muzzle. Strong case colors, the back of the grip safety fading to patina. Grips are especially fine with sharp checkering. Strong, bright bore with light frosting. Mechanically fine.
