Manufactured from 1928 to 1942 with production estimated at less than 3,500, these single shot target pistols were originally termed the Model 195 but later renamed after the United States Revolver Association in the 1930s where these target pistols performed very well in slow fire matches. Heavy 7" later style slab-sided barrel chambered in .22 LR with matted top strap, 1-line address marking, and target sights. Fitted with wrap-around checkered walnut grips. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent. The vast majority of the original blued finish is retained throughout, with some mild wear around the muzzle and on the front strap. Very fine mirror bore with razor-sharp rifling. Mechanically fine.
