Circa 1914. High polished blue finish with case hardened trigger and safeties. Standard barrel with recessed sights. Slide marked correctly with 2-line address ending in 1910 patent date. Grips are 2-piece checkered hard rubber with relief "COLT" towards the top and rampant Colt trademark. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Near excellent. Nearly all of the lustrous original blue is retained with some mild edgewear and scratching. Trigger displays generous fading case colors, the grip safety largely faded to patterning. Grips are very fine with only light evidence of use. Bright, lightly frosted bore with crisp rifling.
