Circa 1922. Polished blue finish with case hardened trigger and safeties. Standard barrel with recessed sights. Slide marked correctly with 2-line address ending in 1917 patent date. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut with silver rampant Colt medallions. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the lustrous original blue is retained with some mild edgewear and handling marks. Trigger displays strong case colors, the grip safety starting to fade. Grips are very fine. Bright bore with crisp rifling.
