Manufactured 1934. Standard configuration of Colt's subcompact pistol, with 2 line Colt address and patent information on left side of slide, caliber on right. 2 piece checkered walnut grips with silver medallions, case color safety, trigger, and grip safety. Normal proofs and subinspector proofs on trigger guard. 2 tone magazine. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Good, retaining the vast majority of the factory bluing with some minor marks from age scattered throughout. Some silvering scattered throughout, particularly to muzzle and slide. Some silvering to reciprocating areas. Case colors are good on trigger and safety, backstrap of grip safety with case colors largely faded, mostly patterning visible. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with some mild frosting towards muzzle and softened lands.
