Manufactured circa 1978. Features include polished blued finish, pinned 8 - 3/8" barrel, red insert ramped front sight, adjustable target rear sight, 6-shot fluted cylinder, case hardened wide target trigger, square butt N frame, and 2-piece checkered oversized target grips inset with Smith & Wesson medallions. Housed in a correct dovetailed wood display case with tools and factory paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained with only light handling marks and a turn line. Grips likewise have only light impressions. Fine bright bore with sharp rifling, possibly unfired since leaving the factory. Mechanics are fine. Case displays very well overall with some scattered marks from storage and display.
