Manufactured by Inglis for Chinese use with tangent sight graduated to 500 meters, barleycorn front sight, left side of slide with "MK. I * / BROWNING FN 9mm HP INGLIS CANADA". Matching serial numbers of barrel, slide, and frame; Dominion of Canada proof next to frame serial number. Internal extractor and ring hammer. Magazine safety intact. Slotted for stock and fit with a lanyard loop on a non-rotatable stud. Black composite grips, split heel magazine with "JI" on base. Stock with "MADE IN CANADA" and "S A LTD / 1945" marks. CONDITION: Metal retains the original parkerization with burnishing around DOC proof. High edges are silvering throughout, with scattered areas of peppering, with some somewhat heavier areas of barrel hood. Mechanically fine, bore has strong rifling and some mild frosting, mostly towards muzzle, and some spots of light oxidation. Stock is very good, revarnished, with some handling marks, some of which expose bare wood on the left side. Stock attaches firmly.
