Number 898 of only 1,000 manufactured for distributer Lew Horton in 1987. Bright finished stainless with 2 - 1/2" "COMBAT COBRA" marked barrel, matted top strap, orange insert ramped front sight, and white outline adjustable rear. Round butt frame. Grips are 2-piece wrap-around walnut with rampant Colt 150th anniversary medallions. Complete with matching burgundy Colt box and paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent. Stainless remains bright with handling marks and a turn line. Grips likewise have a few spots of finish loss but are otherwise very good. Very fine, bright bore with sharp rifling. Crisp mechanics. Box has some expected edgewear, as well as an area of loss. A scarce and desirable Colt.
