Lot consists of: (A) US WWII M3 fighting knife with 1st Type marking "US M3 CAMILLUS 1943" on blade. Some amount of original bluing on blade with nice bluing on crossguard and pommel. Stacked leather grip. Complete with M6 scabbard marked "U.S. M6 / MILSCO / 1943 / (Ordnance mark)". Leather is pliable with dark spots and wear. (B) US WWI M1918 trench knife marked "U.S. 1918 / L.F. & C-1918" on brass knuckleguard and "L.F. & C. / 1918 on scabbard. Blade is unmarked and exhibits evidence of sharpening. Scabbard with oxidation and wear. (C) US WWII M4 bayonet marked "U.S. M4 / IMPERIAL" on guard. Traces of original finish on blade. Complete with "U.S. M8 / B.M. CO." marked scabbard. (D) US M6 scabbard marked as such on guard. Nice finish on blade. Complete with "U.S. M8A1 / B.M. CO." marked scabbard. All knives exhibit scattered wear that is typical of wartime blades. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Good.
