Shipped May 9, 1938 to Seattle Hardware, Seattle, Washington with .22 chambering, 6" barrel, blued finish, 1/8" front sight, and 3-pound trigger pull. The tapered 6" barrel is marked on the top flat with 2-line address and on the left "COLT / OFFICERS / MODEL / .22 LONG RIFLE". Adjustable target front sight blade and flat top target frame with adjustable square notch rear sight. Standard 6-shot fluted cylinder, checkered trigger, and checkered back straps. Outfitted with 2-piece checkered Roper style grips. Complete with 1983 dated factory letter. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all of the factory finishes are retained with only light handling marks, faint silver at high edges, and a ghost turn line. Grips likewise only have a few light handling marks. Very good, bright bore. Mechanically fine.
