Circa 1935. Standard configuration with blued finish, tapered snub nose barrel, blade front sight, frame rear sight, and 2-piece checkered walnut grips inset with silver rampant Colt medallions. Matching numbers observed on frame and crane. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Near excellent. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained with some freckles and light spots of loss. Grips have only a few light marks. Excellent mirror bore, possibly unfired since it left the facotry. Tight mechanics.
