Lot consists of: (A) 7 - 1/2" x 5" Ethan Allen autograph manuscript, unsigned, 2 pages, octavo, undated. A leaf from his account book, containing 7 entries on each side, consisting of the name of the individual and an amount. Minor damage to the bottom margin, not touching the text. A nice example of Ethan Allen's writing. Obvious edge wear with bold, legible writing. With 1972 dated receipt. CONDITION: Good. (B) 3 - 1/2" x 1" Ethan Allen clipped signature with clipped image of Fort Ticonderoga. Ink is faded but legible, scattered staining throughout. CONDITION: Fair. Both pieces are Ex-Lattimer Collection and are each accompanied by James Spence Authentication Full Letters of Authenticity.
