Eye-catching display of Ben Franklin ephemera including 3 engravings and a 1948 Benjamin Franklin half dollar that surround the centerpiece which is a small letter written by Benjamin Franklin that was written in the third person. The letter reads "D. Franklin presents his com- pliments to W. Wollock, + requests he would forward the enclosed with his Respects to D. Lewis. D F. has just received it from Germany" dated "Monday, March 9, 1767". The display is tastefully framed and measures approximately 23" x 17". The back of the frame exhibits a "E.F. Bonaventure Art Galleries" label as well as a Seller's Book Shop label with brief description of the display. This presentation was once displayed in the Collection of Dr. John K. Lattimer and comes with a James Spence Authentication Full Letter of Authenticity that states the letter was written in Benjamin Franklin's hand. Scattered blemishes that do not detract from the presentation. CONDITION: Good.
