Letters on the Masonic Institution, by John Quincey Adams, and signed by John Quincey Adams. 3/4 calf, marbled boards, gilt lettered spine. Boston, 1847. Signed on Flyleaf "Samuel Wolcott Esq. / from John Quincey Adams." Library label on inside front cover. Adams' inscription in this book is quite rare, as he died the following year. The shaky signature reflects his health and age. The book is intact and appears complete with all pages. This book once sat in the Dr. John K. Lattimer Library and comes with a James Spence Authentication Full Letter of Authenticity. CONDITION: Good.
