Volumes I and II of Edison: His Life and Inventions by Frank Lewis Dyer and Thomas Commerford Martin. The flyleaf of volume I is signed "Thomas A. Edison" The first volume also features a newspaper clipping of Thomas Edison's obituary which is pasted inside the back cover. Volume II is unsigned and features Mrs. Edison's obituary which is pasted to the flyleaf as well as other newspaper articles of regarding Edison inside the back cover. The books remain intact and appear to be complete with all pages. Nice gold designs on spines. Pages exhibit light wear but all print is legible. Light blemishes to covers. These books were once part of the Dr. John K. Lattimer Library and the signed copy is accompanied by a James Spence Authentication Full Letter of Authenticity. CONDITION: Good.
