Volumes 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 of "Lives of the Princesses of England" by Mary Anne Everett Green all with cloth jackets that say "Charles Dickens's Set" at the bottom of the spine. The title page of volume I features Charles Dickens' name, which may have been added later, and is dated 7 Feb. 1861. A paper contained in volume I states that these books were purchased by a London agent from the Catalogue of Books belonging to the late Charles Dickens. The inside of the front cover of each book features a book plate that reads "From the Library of Charles Dickens, Gadshill Place, June 1870." The books appear complete with all pages and the pages exhibit blemishes that are typical of old texts. Some of the covers exhibit separation at the spine underneath the jackets. Scattered wear to the cloth jackets including scuffs, fraying, and small tears. These books were once part of the Dr. John K. Lattimer library. CONDITION: Good.

Item Dimensions: 16" X 9"
LOT OF 5: BOOKS FROM THE LIBRARY OF CHARLES DICKENS, EX-LATTIMER.
