Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1898. Plain, 28" blued octagonal factory special order Winchester Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address, chambered in 38-55, and full length blued tubular magazine. Standard front sight with standard 22 rear sight. Blued solid frame with plain trigger. Standard configuration walnut stocks with case-hardened crescent steel buttplate. Factory research confirms options. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with light freckling with 90% remaining action blue with silver edges. 40% varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Bright bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics.
