Circa 1935. Blued finish with 6" barrel marked on the left "COLT OFFICERS MODEL .22 LONG RIFLE". Fitted with a "COLT-KING SUPER TARGET" marked ventilated rib with mirror front sight and adjustable rear. Wide offset King target hammer, checkered trigger, and checkered backstrap. Grips are 2-piece checkered walnut inset with silver Rampant Colt medallions. PROVENANCE: From the personal and advanced collection of Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: Excellent, with a vast majority of the original blue finish remaining with light turn line on cylinder and handling marks throughout most notably on left side plate. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and a chip on right grip panel near butt. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
