A double-guard fixed-base No. 39 lantern made by C T Ham. "The D. & H. Co." is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The insert fount and No. 1 long-stem ratchet burner are correct for this model, and the removable globe adapter is intact. This unit appears to have never been fired. Shows an old and yellowing overcoat and is dirty. The clear No. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "The D&H" in average relief, showing no signs of railroad use.
