A large brass heart-shaped "fancy back" lock, made by The Union Lock & Hardware Co. of Lancaster, PA, hallmark incised on shackle. "ERIE RR" is embossed in fancy serif font on a pebbled background. The dust cover is functioning properly, but is slightly bent. There is a dent in the face on the top of the "I." The clevis pivot is intact, but there is no chain attached. The lock shows an old, dark patina, with some nicks and dents from RR use. A nice, brass ERIE key is included with this lot. Condition: 6.0, Good.
