A small cedar cigar box made for the Reading Railroad. There is a nice embossed logo on the inside cover, "Specially Selected for Reading-New Jersey Central Dining Cars." There is a detailed hallmark on the bottom indicating that these have come from Florida. The right cover hinge has come loose from the cover and needs to be reattached. There is some soiling and some scratches, and the word "TACKS" has been painted on the front of the long side. The box shows very nice dove-tailed construction.
