(A) A cast iron locomotive builder's plate for a 48-ton standard-gauge locomotive made for the U.S Army. The locomotive USA 4024 was made in 1954. The plate shows olive drab field paint with black highlighted letters and border. Back of plate shows old, tight brown patina. Condition: 8.0, Very Good. (B) A small cast iron trust plate. The plate shows light surface rust on the face and weld spatter on the reverse. Condition: 8.0, Very Good.
