An 1892 patent, No. 11 steel guard "Adams" with single globe guard and wire bottom. "N.Y.L.E&W.R.R." is embossed on the lid reflector. The bayonet fount appears to be a Handlan-Buck unit with some dates lightly stamped underside and has a no. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The bail has been encased with copper tubing, nicely done long ago. The lantern frame shows original patina and is oily. The signal green, no. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "N.Y.,L.E. & W.R.R." in block font and in average relief. The globe shows normal RR wear. Color translucence is real nice.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 7" x 7" x 10 - 1/2".
