An earlier fixed globe model, probably made by the New England Glass Co. The bayonet oil cup is correct for this model, but is missing the glass fount. The metal chimney and lower bayonet oil cup show traces of old brown japanning and are in very good condition. The flashed red globe is nicely embossed "B&ARR" in block font and in average relief. The globe may have been re-plastered (?) to the top and bottom pieces as the plaster doesn't show soiling.
Condition: (Very Good).
