An early Kelly fixed globe model with brass top and single horizontal guard. The bayonet base is correct for this model and has several pin holes and minor repairs underneath. There is a small Kelly flat tube "pick wick" burner affixed. The lightly stamped hallmark reads "J H Kelly & Co Rochester." The clear globe is nicely engraved "NYC&HR" and shows original plaster retaining. Several of the vertical wires have broken loose from the bottom cylinder where they were butt soldered.
