A fixed-base double-guard brass-top bellbottom made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Co. for the West Shore Railroad, in the New York Central pattern. "W. S. R. R." is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. The plug-in fount is correct for this model and has a No. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The 6" clear extended base globe is nicely embossed "WSRR" and shows little evidence of RR use. The frame retains a dark olive patina with an overcoat and very little rust evident. The brass top is nice and straight.
