A No. 6 double-guard fixed-base brass-top model made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Co. The plug-in fount is correct for this model and has a No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. The lid latch spring is a replacement. "B. N. Y. & P." is nicely embossed on the lid reflector. This model was made with an adjustable sliding globe clamp, but the collar is missing and a spring has been installed. The flashed red 6" extended base globe is nicely embossed "BNY&P" in average relief. Color translucence is very good. The globe shows one minor glass flake. The lantern shows a nice medium patina, generally smooth. The brass top shows light brass pitting.
