An early Parmelee & Bonnell model with bayonet base, double globe guard, and frame bail attachment. There are two 1871 patent dates stamped into the reflector, which is nicely embossed "B. & M. R. R." in serif font. The base has a glass fount with no. 1 Callendar ratchet burner affixed. The clear globe is a standard New England barrel, beautifully embossed "B&MR.R." in serif font. The frame is in excellent condition and appears to be an old Dave Thompson restoration beautifully done as always. This lantern is display-ready.
