An early, unguarded, star-diamond-star fixed globe unit with tin bracelet bail and five-pointed star piercings in the chimney and 6-pointed stars in the oil cup filigree. The fount sleeve has come loose from the cup base and needs to be resoldered carefully, and there is a bayonet pin missing to secure the cup onto the lantern. The clear globe is nicely engraved "C.R.R". These letters always lead to debate about which New England RR such lanterns come from. A nice example needing some fixing.
