A brass frame with Thompson-like bail saddle that pivots on the lower assembly. The lid detaches, allowing globe removal from the top. There is a brass plate affixed below the bottom vent filigree that is incised "P&RRR." The plug-in brass fount is intact, fits well, and has a no. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The brass shows light tarnish and no stress cracks could be seen. The signal green, 6" extended base, tall globe is a tight fit at the top ring and was not removed for inspection or photographing. It is heavily embossed "P&RRR" in serif font. There is a small chip in the top fitter.
