A vintage Cairns & Brothers black leather helmet with a nice golden eagle holding the badge at the top. The polished aluminum badge has an embossed border and separately applied cast bronze decorations which read "MONTGOMERY 1 1847." The back of the brim has "M" painted in gold leaf with blue shadow in old English font. Inside shows normal wear. This is a real nice helmet.
Condition: (Very Good).
