A cast iron diesel locomotive builder's plate for the Seaboard Air Line & Seaboard Coast Line, Model RS-12, 1200 hp. Very early, built 1953 Baldwin-Lima Hamilton Construction #75765, Seaboard Air Line #1472, then became Seaboard Coast Line #213. Plate shows newer Seaboard red and black field paint with gold highlighted lettering. Back of plate shows oxidation and light rust.
