A nice offering of US Navy uniforms that were worn by Rear Admiral Russell W. Gorman, who served in active duty with the United States Navy from 1953-1987. Gorman had an illustrious career with the Navy, and despite his retirement it seemed like he never left the Navy since he was so active with various Naval organizations and was presented with awards and achievements until his death in 2017. The lot includes several fatigue sets named to Gorman, dress uniforms, including trousers, shirts, and jackets, as well as a hat and hardhat, both of which are unnamed. The uniforms are accompanied by a photo signed by Gorman that is addressed to a prior owner where Gorman states success in efforts to create a museum for the uniforms. The uniforms present well and would make an excellent display. Varying degrees of wear with most items in good+ condition. CONDITION: Good-very good.
