Early 20th-century wood airplane propeller that was nicely framed with various pieces of World War I US Army Air Service and World War II US Army Air Force insignia. The propeller is bolted to the frame and was not disassembled. The front side does not display any company markings or serial numbers. The insignia appears to be glued in place; reverse of the wings were not examined to determine maker or era. The display possibly tells the story of a career officer who serve in both WWI-WWII, starting as a 2nd Lieutenant and retiring as a Colonel. The propeller exhibits scattered small dents with a significant crack on the upper left side. A very nice display that is ready to hang. CONDITION: Good.
