Lot consists of: (A) Uniform attributed to General Alfonso Lenhardt who served in various ambassador positions and retired as a highly decorated Major General. The uniform consists of a jacket, shirt, and tie and does not appear to be named to Lenhardt, but was displayed as such and with a photo of the General. The uniform is shown to be late in Lenhardt's career, as evidenced by the awards. Light wear, but very clean overall. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Uniform attributed to General Elizabeth P. Hoisington, who was one of the first women to be promoted to brigadier general by Richard Nixon. Hoisington began her Army career as a WAAC third officer and served throughout the Vietnam War, retiring in 1971. The uniform consists of her service blouse, shirt, tie, skirt, shoes, gloves, and hat. The uniform is named to Hoisington by a piece of tape that reads "GEN. HOISINGTON". The uniform exhibits light wear and is very clean overall. CONDITION: Very good.
