AGS CERTIFIED #11604 & #11605. Two Single Sided Porcelain Neon Signs mounted back to back on metal can showing rotation pole and mechanism mounted at the topside of the can. Sign lights up in beautiful red bordered neon throughout the edge and wing of each side. CONDITION: Side one is outstanding showing excellent color throughout with some moderate areas of rain discoloration to the gloss but not noticeable when the sign is illuminated or hung. Side one shows minor chipping at the tail as well as light nicks and minimal chips at the feet and wing tips, (Score 83). Side two also shows bright red and white colors with some moderate rain etching in the gloss throughout. Side two shows a chip free field with some minimal nicks at the upper and lower edges as well as at the mounting hole of the chin, (Score 84). Signs are mounted on a professionally made metal can showing a metal mounting pole at the top side as well as rotating mechanism and transformer. An incredible example of one of the most iconic signs in all of Gas & Oil.
