Circa 1980. Bright nickel finish with nearly full coverage of semi-relief arabesque foliate engraving on a punch dot background, signed on the frame under the grips "HRB / ENG 20" for Howard R. Barnett. Classic 8 - 3/8" pinned round barrel with serrated matte rib, red insert ramped front sight, and white outlined micrometer click rear. Square butt N frame. Case hardened target trigger and hammer. 2-piece checkered Goncalo Alves target stocks inset with silver S&W medallions. Housed in an appropriate fitted dovetailed wood display case. CONDITION: Excellent. Nickel remains bright with only a light turn line. Stocks have some scattered light marks but otherwise remain very fine. Especially fine bright bore with razor sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Case appears relined, displaying well.
