Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1950 as a standard rifle, subsequently custom stocked and rebarreled at an unknown date by an unknown gunsmith. Blued 24" sporter weight sightless round steel barrel in .220 Swift with blued floorplate. Blued finish receiver with matching solid handle bolt and custom 2-stage trigger with sub-2# pull. Custom checkered Himalayan walnut stock with skeleton steel buttplate and grip cap. Gun is fitted with Leupold rings and bases with Bausch and Lomb Balvar 6-24x scope with caps. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with edge wear and 98% remaining action finish, bolt with slight handling wear. 95% hand-rubbed finish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Sharp checkering. Good bore with visible rifling, crisp mechanics, and clear optics.
