Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1963 as a varmint rifle and custom stocked at an unknown date by an unknown gunsmith. 26" varmint weight round blued factory steel barrel with Winchester address with full blued floorplate and drilled and tapped sight provisions. Blued finish receiver with matching hollow handle bolt and custom two-stage trigger with sub 2# pull. Custom checkered walnut stock with cheekpiece, skeleton steel buttplate, grip cap, and detachable sling swivels. Gun is fitted with Redfield rings and bases with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x scope with sunshade and caps. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with edge wear and 98% remaining action finish with bolt with slight handling wear. 95% hand-rubbed finish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Sharp checkering. Good bore with visible rifling, crisp mechanics, and clear optics.
