Serious-minded collector grade Model 92 made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1927. Plain 20" octagonal blued factory special order Winchester Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address, marked "MODEL 92" with a full-length blued tubular magazine. Standard front sight and 22G rear sight. Blued solid frame with plain trigger. Standard configuration walnut stocks with blued hammer, lever, and crescent steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: Ex. Woody Frey Collection. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with 98% remaining action blue with light operation wear. 98% original varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Bright bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics. This gun appears possibly unfired and is virtually impossible to improve upon.
