Circa 2010. This lovely rifle is built on one of Martin's large size proprietary single shot actions, believed to be one of the strongest ever invented. It is chambered for the highly versatile .375 H&H rimless cartridge and almost stocked to the muzzle. The octagonal 24" nitro proofed barrel is furnished with a flat top matte filed rib. Rib with quarter rib and stepped bladed front sight. Front sight is fit with a low light flip-up sight. Quarter rib with EAW mounts, one standing sight, for 100 yards, and one folding sight, regulated for 200 yards, both with gold sight lines. Rib reads "M. HAGN, CRANBROOK-CANADA". Quarter rib reads "NR.261208" and "CAL .375H&H MAGNUM". Barrel with German nitro proofs. Case color hardened action with light scroll reads "M.HAGN" and decorated with light scrolls. Single trigger and action lever are also case hardened. Handsome fiery burled walnut stock with flat checkered pistol grip, case hardened grip cap, bottom strap, case colored sling loops, gold oval is finished by a black leather covered pad. Forend with matched checkering and engraved pin. The rifle weighs just 11 lbs. with its German made Carl Zeiss Diavari 1,5-6x scope and 9 lbs. 14 oz. without scope. Rifle and its accessories are all cased in a custom green canvas and leather case from Ian Tomlin, one of England's finest case makers. The case is appointed with a full complement of rifle cleaning equipment and accessories. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel is very good with mainly all of its color, and rifling is sharp. Action functions smoothly. Case colors are strong. Stock and forend are good with handling marks. Case is excellent. Nice rifle.
