Third Reich municipal Polizei Officer Tschako with a fine Feldgrau wool body, with several spots of very light nap wear. Black patent leather top has very light wear and faint crazing, and black leather body trim has light wear. The black vulkanfibre front, and black leather rear visor, as well as the dark green undersides, have very light wear. High quality (tombak?) officer front plate, with moderate wear to its silver finish, is attached with undisturbed aluminum washers, brass screws and nuts, Officer silver bullion field badge is backed in black fabric. All four vent screens and two sliding closures are present. Undamaged aluminum officer chin scales are attached with aluminum split pins, (as earlier Pickelhaubes were), and also unhook from the front with black leather and an aluminum buckle. Tan rayon officer liner is attached to a leather "Erel" embossed tan leather sweatband; both exhibit light to moderate staining. Top cover is marked in the center "EREL TSCHAKO", with a headshot of a helmeted solider, and no size marking visible. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. WEZ
