Made in Japan by Olin-Kodensha for Winchester Repeating Arms Company between 1978 and 1988. 26" blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels in .410 with factory ventilated rib, ejectors, Lyman style hi-visibilty bead front (missing bead) and mid sights, 3" chambers, and Full and Modified chokes. Blued boxlock action with scroll engraving, gold bird on bottom, polished gold finished single selective trigger, and top tang safety barrel selector. Factory checkered figured walnut pistol grip stock with solid black recoil pad, hard rubber grip cap, and brass oval vanity plate. Fitted with matching checkered beavertail forearm with ebony stock inlay and latch release. Comes in fitted maker's trunk case. CONDITION: 98% action and barrel blue with light fading on the carry area. Sharp engraving. Trigger plating is starting to flake. 98% original varnish with sharp checkering and small handling dings. Excellent bores and mechanics. Case in good condition.
