Single Sided Tin Over Cardboard. Maker Marked Shonk Litho, Chicago. Scarce C. 1920's Service Station Sign for Vapor Plug advertising More Power, Speed & Mileage. CONDITION: Sign is overall very good showing bright color with unique graphic style. Sign shows some light areas of surface scratching present in the field with minimal dent marks. Sign shows some minor paint loss along the outer edges with some light areas of denting. The backside shows its easel back missing with hanging string intact. A unique piece of early Automotive advertising.
