DSP. C. 1920's Porcelain Flange Sign for Firestone Tires showing "Garage & Gasoline". CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing bright color & gloss with limited surface scratching in the field. Side one shows light chipping along the top and bottom edge, none of which is overly distracting, (Score 87). Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with some minor surface scratches as well as some chipping in the outer field and along the outer edge, (Score 87). The flange portion shows chipping at the mounting holes as well as some light use wear and staining. A well displaying example of this early and rare sign from Firestone.
