Cold War Russian Major General parade uniform including double-breasted tunic, visor hat, belt, and boots. The double-breasted dress tunic is off blue wool cloth with red piping around the collar, shoulders, and cuffs. The red piped shoulder boards are silk brocade with gold bullion star. The buttons display the State Emblem of the USSR and on the reverse show markings including the numbers 64, 67, and 68, which dates the uniform to the 1960s. The tunic is lined by fine silk with no visible maker tag. The tunic displays a wide array of awards, including medals that are awarded for courage and valor. These high awards are followed by an assortment of service medals. There are also several Orders of the Red Star and The Order of the Patriotic War. Some of the orders are hard to remove and appear to have been affixed to the tunic for a long time, however several were inspected and are numbered. There is also ghosting on the liner that suggests some orders were removed. The hat is constructed of the same material as the tunic. Interior has a size number "59" as well as what appears to be the officer's name. Also included is a pair of boots with Russian stamping on the interior. around the straps. The tunic shows light fraying wear from service use. Hat has very minor blemishes throughout and retains its shape. Belt exhibits fading and the most overall wear. CONDITION: Good
