Cold War Russian lieutenant colonel parade uniform including double-breasted tunic, trousers, visor hat, and boots. The double-breasted dress tunic is off blue wool cloth with red piping around the shoulders and cuffs. The red piped shoulder boards are silk brocade with metal stars and tank. The buttons display Soviet stars of the USSR and show markings including the numbers 88 on the reverse which dates the uniform to 1988. The tunic is lined by fine silk with no visible maker tag. The tunic displays a wide array of awards, including medals that are awarded for courage and valor. These high awards are followed by an assortment of service medals. There are also several orders including The Order of the Red Star and The Order of the Patriotic War. Some of the orders are hard to remove and appear to have been affixed to the tunic from a long time, all are by numbered on the reverse. The hat is constructed of the same material as the tunic. Interior exhibits a leather maker label and is dated "1989". Also included is a matching pair of trousers dated 1988. Boots exhibit stamping on the interior. The tunic shows light wear from service use. Hat has very minor blemishes throughout and retains its shape. Boots are a bit misshapen with supple leather. CONDITION: Good
