Henry Deringer Contract U.S. Model 1817 Flintlock RifleNVSN, .54 caliber, 36 inch barrel, Deringer Contract U.S. Model 1817 Flintlock Rifle. Iron mountings finish brown, case hardened lock plate, iron patch box cover, 1-piece walnut stock, correct markings, circa 1841. Condition: strong rifling with black powder oxidation, iron mottled silver-plum, very good wood with cartouche, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
