Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1942. 23" blued round factory Winchester Proof steel barrel with a Winchester address, ".22 S. L. or L.R." caliber marking, and a full-length blued tubular magazine. Blued finish takedown receiver with plain trigger. Standard configuration walnut stock with Winchester hard rubber buttplate and matching walnut corrugated slide handle. Comes with an original 2-piece cardboard picture box and a Winchester instruction manual. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with operation wear with 98% remaining action finish with slight handling wear. 95% hand rubbed finish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Slide has a rub mark on the right rear side. Good bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics, except for the hammer which does not hold half cock; otherwise, a great condition gun. Box in good condition.
