Manufactured in 1927 with 5 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .38 WCF (.38-40) with blade front sight and frame notch rear. Blue finish with case-hardened frame and hammer. Mounted with custom 1 piece ivory grips professionally carved with floral and scroll motifs on a punchdot background on both grip panels. Complete with a copy of a factory letter dated July 16, 2004, confirming configuration with the exception of grips listed as "rubber". This revolver was part of a June 3, 1927 shipment to California Hardware Company in Los Angeles, California, in a shipment of 2 guns of the same type. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, with most of the original bluing remaining with high-edge wear throughout and scattered minor freckling. Case colors have faded but are still present. Grips are excellent, with no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine, with all 4 stops present and mainspring lightened. Bore is frosted with defined rifling.
